With the high resolution of the sceyeX A3 (10 megapixels) and integrated text recognition, the fully automatic conversion of whole A3 pages into PDFplus format is made possible. sceyeX A3 flexibly scans every format - from small reminder notes up to A3 forms - and at the same time removes all unnecessary borders and rotates the document straight.

With the PRO software package, all the benefits of sceye Autoscan are available. This application (respectively additional functions of sceye Workbench on MAC OS) make fully automated scanning, straightening, cropping as well as saving of scanned pages possible. 

Multipage documents are furthermore especially simple to export and save as PDF/PDFplus incl. OCR full text.

Horizontal instead of portrait.

Unlike the A4 sceye models, the sceyeX A3 scans in horizontal format. As usual, the patented laser projection of the scanning area is projected on the table. Particularly with books, newspaper articles and double paged A4 forms, the advantage of the new alignment is shown.

The scanning of an A3 sized area requires the highest degree of sharpness. Because of this, we are only offering the A3 option in connection with our high resolution 10 megapixel model - sceyeX. 

Comfort as accustomed. 

All comfort functions such as automatic scanning, automatic cropping and automatic straightening are of course also available for our new sceyeX A3. With the performance of the PRO package, exporting to a searchable PDF (PDFplus) is also available along side the popular fuctionality of sceye Autoscan. 

Book mode

The book mode, which was especially and exclusively developed for this model, allows you to additionally scan a double page in one step. The respective left and right pages of a book template are captured in one single shot and automatically saved as 2 seperate pages in the same document. Double the performance in the same amount of time.

And even more: You can keep your fingers in the border zone of your book to keep the pages flat - no worry about your fingers - they will be removed from the final scan magically.

Unser Einstiegsmodell sceyeS verfügt über die grundlegenden Merkmale der sceye Geräteserie. Alle sceye-Modelle sind leicht zu bedienen, schnell, flexibel, mobil und wartungsfrei. Bedienung

Mit sceye ist die Arbeit einfach: legen Sie ein Dokument (Rechnung, Lieferschein, Tankbeleg, etc...) in den projizierten Laserrahmen auf Ihrem Schreibtisch. Mit nur einem Mausklick wird die Seite gescannt, gerade ausgerichtet und auf das exakte Seitenformat zugeschnitten. Mit der intelligenten Autocrop-Funktion (Intellicrop) erhält Ihre gescannte Dokumentseite einen besonders sauberen Randbereich – selbst wenn das Original schon kleinere Gebrauchsspuren aufweist. So erhalten Sie erstklassige Scanergebnisse – automatisch.

Flexibilität & Speed

Das sind die herausragenden Vorteile von sceye – nicht nur Vorlagen jeder Größe bis zu A4 können gescannt werden, auch geklammerte Seiten, Bücher und z.B. Zeitschriften. Sogar Seiten direkt im(!) Aktenordner – das berührungslose Erfassungsprinzip macht es möglich. Innerhalb einer Sekunde ist die Akte - farbig, in Graustufen oder schwarz/weiß - digitalisiert und Sie können weiterblättern.

TWAIN

Der weltweite Standard für Scanner heißt TWAIN. Über diese Schnittstelle integriert sich sceye automatisch in jede Software die TWAIN unterstützen kann. So können jedes Archiv-Programm, jede OCR-Software und viele Branchenlösungen (z.B: Software für Steuerberater, Notare und Ärzte) ohne Anpassung und unmittelbar von sceye profitieren.

Die Standardanwendung für alle unsere sceye-Scanner ist sceye Sphere. Diese neue Scan&View Software ist intuitiv mit Tastatur, Maus oder auch mit Windows-Touch Geräten bedienbar. Special model - Monopro

As an extension of our sceyeX models, we also offer a monochrome model. With a 10 megapixel resolution and a monochrome sensor, this may sound like a limitation. However by sacrificing colour, the monochrome sensor can now deliver even sharper scans. In order to obtain a comparable result with a colour sensor, you would require a sensor with around 20 megapixels. That's why our sceyeX Monopro is the perfect choice for fine text capture when using OCR, or when small barcodes need to be recognised for best possible process reliability.

Windows Terminal Server support.

Whether Citrix or another pure WTS environment, sceye is currently the only USB workplace scanner which already supports operation in a WTS environment - readily integrated into the driver. sceye is connected through USB at a terminal (Windows Client Computer) whilst the software is run directly in the server environment. The data is compressed at the same time and invisibly transferred over the existing RDP connection. Completely automatic - the user will hardly notice the difference. 

That's how simple and easy it is to apply and that's how sophisticated and powerful this solution is at the technical level. Our WTS support is about 40 times faster than a pure USB device routing. 

Context scanning vs. batch scanning

The ADF scanner leads the way in batch scanning. Yet you don't often have a pile of documents to capture, but rather a single or in some cases a multiple page document. This is the moment where the throughput rate per minute doesn't count, but rather the reaction speed, flexibility and operational readiness that does. This is where the strengths of sceye are discovered. 

Context scanning describes the situation in which you already find yourself in the matching context in a given application (be it customer context, deliverer context, or patient context ect.) and the document being scanned should exactly match this context. In the process you also save time, because in comparison to batch scanning, the indexing is omitted.

Context scanning is the key skill of sceye. Either via Twain or directly integrated in every application through our SDK if even more performance & speed are required.

PRIME Light

PRIME Light is an optional hardware add-on/upgrade, specifically developed for use when scanning large amounts of reflective documents. If you often need to scan shiny objects eg. Magazines, photos, ID documents ect., then PRIME Light is the right option for you. Special filters work to elimate sceyes own light source completely from the results. Now you can scan all your magazines pages in seconds, not minutes like flatbed scanners. 

SDK - Software Development Kit

Currently more than 200 partners use our SDK for direct integration in several products and projects. The process only requires 5 lines of code to reach an initial integration. 

With our OCX we deliver a live preview, the basic functions as well as the menu bar. The chosen settings of the user are saved as desired and are available unchanged with the next execution of the program. As like all sceye applications the full performance features of our sceye PRIME technology are also available over the SDK. From automatic contrast to object recognition, automatic cropping and straightening to image optimisation - all functions are built in. 

The recognition of new objects, known from sceye Autoscan can be used per event to conceive and trigger a new scan. Or simply make a manual crop on the live preview with the mouse. Even the page orientation or book mode can ultimately be controlled for a sceyeX-A3. 

Last but not least - every application in which our sceye is integrated through OCX can also be WTS-suitable. This means that without a single line of code, the application can be executed on the server, whilst the sceye belonging to it can be connected at a terminal.

NEW: sceye-Sphere also comes with an SDK and offers the easiest and by far most powerful way to integrate sceye features as well as a unique document viewer right into your application.

Automation

Für Scanjobs mit vielen Belegen werden oft ADF Scanner eingesetzt. Im Gegensatz zu deren mechanischem Blatteinzug kann sceye auch geknickte, eingerissene oder geklammerte Dokumente verarbeitet – vom kleinen Tankbeleg bis hin zu A4 Seiten (oder A3-Format mit sceyeX-A3). Scannen ohne Vorarbeit, ohne Papierstau, rasend schnell und dabei vollautomatisch – mit sceye Autoscan.

sceye Autoscan erkennt selbständig wenn ein neues Dokument in den Erfassungsbereich (angezeigt durch eine Laserprojektion auf der Tischfläche) gelegt wird und löst automatisch den Scan aus. Auch Bildoptimierung, Zuschnitt, Ausrichten und Abspeichern passieren ohne Ihr Zutun. Dokument hinlegen, wegnehmen – fertig!

“Eine Lösung muss nicht nur existieren, sie muss auch greifbar sein.“ Diesem Sprichwort folgend liegt sceye nicht einfach eine CD mit OCR-Software bei – die Texterkennung wurde vielmehr direkt in die vollautomatischen Abläufe integriert!

PDFplus-Dateien – die neben der Bildinformation auch den durchsuchbaren Text einer Seite enthalten – können automatisch im Hintergrund erzeugt werden während Sie schon weitere neue Seiten einscannen.

Ein A3 Scan in einer Sekunde - unfassbar!

Unabhängig von der Dokumentgröße ist der Scanvorgang nach nur einer Sekunde abgeschlossen und Sie können mit der nächsten Seite fortfahren. Das funktioniert auch beim Scannen direkt aus einem Aktenordner heraus. Blättern Sie einfach Ihre Aktenbestände durch und scannen so gleichzeitig die gehefteten Dokumente. Durch das spezielle sceyeX-A3 Objektiv mit erweiterter Schärfentiefe erhalten Sie perfekte Scans in einem Schärfebereich von bis zu 12cm.

Horizontal statt vertikal

Im Gegensatz zu den A4 sceye Modellen ist der Erfassungsbereich der sceyeX-A3 horizontal ausgerichtet. Er wird natürlich ebenfalls mit einer Laserprojektion auf der Tischfläche angezeigt. Vor allem beim Erfassen von Büchern, Zeitungsartikeln und doppelseitigen A4 Vorlagen ist das Horizontalformat vorteilhaft.

Komfort wie gewohnt

Autoscan sowie das automatische Zuschneiden und Ausrichten Ihrer Scans sind auch mit den sceyeX-A3 Geräten nutzbar. Das automatische Erzeugen von durchsuchbaren PDF-Dateien (PDFplus) funktioniert mit A3 wie A4 Dokumenten gleichermaßen.

Buchmodus

Diese Scan-Option ermöglicht es sceyeX-A3 Modellen beide Seiten eines geöffneten Buches gleichzeitig in nur einem Arbeitsschritt zu digitalisieren. Dabei werden die linke und rechte Seite automatisch als getrennte Seiten gespeichert – doppelte Leistung in gleicher Scanzeit.

Halten Sie beim Scannen ruhig Ihre Hände im Randbereich des Buches - nach der Erfassung werden mit aufgenommene Finger automatisch aus dem Bild retuschiert. Sie erhalten perfekt weiße Buchseiten.

Multiscan

Multiscan ist ebenfalls ein speziell für sceyeX-A3 verfügbarer Scan-Modus. Mit Multiscan können Sie bis zu 30 kleine Belege wie Tankquittungen oder Visitenkarten in nur einem einzigen Scanvorgang erfassen. Alle so erkannten Objekte werden einzeln ausgeschnitten. Die Objekte werden als separate Seiten angezeigt und können individuell oder gemeinsam gespeichert werden.
